Stayed here for one night before Malaysia Day. There weren’t that many guests but I think they placed most of their guests on one floor as I heard doors being slammed from inside the room. The queen sized room was cozy but the placement of the toilet was weird as it was separated from the shower and it’s not totally enclosed. If you’re by yourself, it’s fine but totally embarrassing if you’re with friends as they can hear everything. I’d have to say that the best service came from the manager and room service personnel at the rooftop bar. My friend and I bought a bottle of wine but forgot to buy a wine opener...I called room service and a really nice fellow said he would bring the bottle upstairs to remove the cork. After some time, we heard the doorbell and found out that the bar manager was at the door to personally remove the cork and they also lent some wineglasses for us to use. So kind of them! Loved the location of the hotel as it’s nearby Suria and some decent shops. …

Hi You have a great location and the view from the room great, there are several things that could be improved: - house keeping was non existent, I think only one room got serviced once in the days that were there. Had to request additional items but they still didn't arrive, had to go to reception to get more toilet paper - breakfast - needed to order breakfast for an earlier start one day. Cost was MYR35 no matter what you got. That is very overpriced for a continental breakfast. I asked at the time and was told it is a flat rate no matter what you have. Not good money for value - bar snacks - it would be great if you had some snacks to have with a drink in the roof bar. Great venue but would stay longer if you had something light to eat. Even potato chips or nuts, with something like satay sticks even better. Staff were friendly and helpful when we did interact with them, especially the team in the roof bar. Thanks Kay…
We mistakenly took this as a newly built Mercure hotel. Actually its a conversion of an old building but a nice job nevertheless. Location is central and good - easy to Gaya street restaurants. We received very engaging and friendly service from the staff which was the highlight of our stay. We had a suite which was nice albeit a few minor technical issues were noted. Rooftop bar and pool is very nice but we were quite annoyed by a poorly communicated policy against children using the pool which made abolutely no sense, was not a market standard nor an Accor standard and we strongly dis-agreed with it. We ended up changing hotels for this reason.
The 1 bedroom apartment was great.. great sunset view . The top floor cafe very nice. Good concept. Very good service .. clear and stunnibg views, food also delicious. Overall is great place to stay, although mco had its lkmitions on services.. mercure KK shines.
