A really nice place in a good location. Couldn't have asked for better: Room was nicely decorated. Bathroom and shower was good. Breakfast was fab and coffee was amazing. My only criticism is the noise. The floors are thin and wooden so you hear footsteps above. When we stayed we kept awake during the nights with constant walking around above...

We stayed 3 nights at Lang Hoose during Chinese New Year. Wooden floor create a very noisy environment in the room especially people who residence on our top floor are kids and some adults that quarrelling a lot. Our neighbours talk until 2:30am and we could hear every single words of their conversations. In the afternoon while staff doing cleaning...

It surrounded by many great wall painting/street art. Very vintage feel and nice for photo shooting. Towels and toothbrush provided and very clean. The decor is awesome as it really show the true spirit of an ancient house in Georgetown.

This place feels like home; we got a warm welcome from Chu, Sara and Guci with lots of explanations on the city, places to eat and things to visit. The place is well maintained, and has a lot of character , congrats to the managers! Its close to the sights but in a quiet street; and if you want to...

Lovely boutique hotel near the famous Armenian Street, where you can find a lot of the street art that Penang is famous for (the kid on the bicycle, cats in action and so many others). Chinese style hotel with fun kitschy touches. Very nice staff, Mr. Chew, very helpful. Good WiFi, great air-con (it was so hot in Penang!), good...

The staff member Guchi was alone that day, despite very tired, he still offered genuine smile & was super helpful. I took the steer view room, noisy but only because of the guests upstairs, walking + dragging something on wooden floor after midnight & also at 7am! Room was clean, tastefully decorated, bed comfy. Perhaps the management could tactfully inform...

We stayed in George Town just before Christmas, such an incredible place if you love food and art. The Lang Hoose is located in old town so you can walk less than 5 mins to restaurants, street art and many of the must see tourist sites. If you're not a fan of walking you can hire a push bike from...

The accommodations were clean, quiet, in a safe area and owners/staff were very helpful! They communicated ahead of time to arrange airport pickup, and were always available for questions. The neighborhood is close to Chinatown for breakfast (highly recommend) and "Canteen" for a night cap (live jazz). The guesthouse has a few steep stairs to 2nd and 3rd floor, if...

I was trying to think of a negative for this place but honestly can't! The staff were so friendly and gave us so many tips of places to go and how to get there. Chew told us about the events that were going on. The room itself was great. We had a duplex room with a shared bathroom and didn't...

We stayed in the family suite which had a double bed and two single beds. The bedroom was upstairs from the living room and bathroom and had a sloping ceiling. Be careful of your head!
