A restaurant in an inn. Beautifully restored old inn. However the food is westernized so if you're looking for an authentic Peranakan meal you may like to go somewhere else . Very touristy. Not particularly cheap either . Best part was the pianist who played a series of lovely classical pieces

Phenomenal food and good menu choices. Great staff, great service, quickly responded to our every need. Gorgeous decoration and pianist music gave us feeling we are living in the 1920s. It is nestled in the heart of George Town but definitely worth the visit, a must visit.

Seven Terraces offers a set menu for RM130 and it is superb. Flavours mix and melt into an array your tastebuds have never sensed before. Even the good old lamb shank was infused with spices I couldn't place and put a whole new spin on 'the Sunday roast'! The menu comes with greens which lighten up some of the heaviness...

Stayed with my wife in this wonderful boutique hotel in Old Georgetown in Penang Island in April 2015 ; loved it - really one of the most romantic hotels in the world ; great way to explore historical Penang. The rooms are large and in two levels.

Staying at Seven Terraces is like being welcomed into the home of a well-to-do local. It provides an experience that cannot be matched by a large scale hotel. The building is a beautifully renovated and converted row of terraces. The efficient staff, including GM Robert and Wendy on the front desk and Dinesh in the dining areas, are genuinely warm...

The management and staff at Seven Terraces have to be seen to be believed! As this is a small hotel, the managerial staff know, and use, your names. If your are ill, as my husband is, the staff organise drs appointments and transport. They follow this up with regular enquiries about his health. The staff are so accommodating, that it...

We spent 4 nights at the Seven Terraces hotel in March 2017. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. We booked a family suite and were upgraded to the Argus Apartment. No detail was overlooked in every aspect of this hotel, from the rooms to the common areas. The pool was lovely, especially during the afternoon tea time. Breakfast...

My parents, my husband and myself stayed in the Stewart apartment for a few nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, which added to the memorable stay. When staying with others one of my big concerns is the bathroom situation and whether there are enough facilities to have it be a comfortable...

Lovely characterful hotel which has been sympathetically converted from old Chinese houses. Rooms are authentically furnished and very comfortable. An excellent base for exploring the heritage district of Georgetown. Many thanks to the staff for their helpful tips on getting to the best places of interest/restaurants and also getting my mobile phone back to me which I inadvertently left behind...

We have just spent 15 days at Seven Terraces. In years of travel I can say that my needs and wishes have never been so easily and graciously met.
