We are staying for several weeks having stayed twice before. There are three houses and each is well appointed. This really beats staying in hotels where you can't really chill out. Just having your own fridge freezer, microwave, TV, washing machine etc gives you a real sense of independence.

We loved our week at number 10 and would love to return. We've visited Penang many times, but this was to best to be able to stay in a traditional Chinese shophouse which has been given a comfortable makeover. The laneway is a quiet cul de sac of similar shophouses in pretty colours. The neighbours are friendly and like it...

We have just spent 5 weeks at Green House and loved every second. The location is fantastic and in the heart of beautiful Georgetown. The house itself, a lovely restored heritage house, was spotlessly clean with a thorough weekly housekeeping service. The house is spacious and well equipped and it really felt like we were living a real life in...

We recently returned from our wonderful trip to Malaysia where we started off with 4 nights in Georgetown in the Green House @ Popus. I liked the accommodation without finding it brilliant. I would ideally rate this place as 3.5 stars but Tripadvisor doesn't offer such an option and my travel partners disagreed with me, hence the rating of 4...

Was a pleasure to stay a restored georgetown home. It was to large for a solo traveler but would be ideal for a couple or small family. The Interior of the house was well fitted out and it was a very charming place to stay. The location was great and has a far better feel than staying in a large...

We are staying for one month and this place is super. Nice living room with satellite tv and DVD player and library, well laid out kitchen with very efficient fridge/freezer. Solar shower and bathroom with washing machine and plenty of drying space, smaller second bedroom and decent size main bedroom. The air con works well and is necessary. Overall a...

We wanted to see and experience Georgetown more like locals than tourists so we booked this beautifully restored heritage shophouse a stone's thrown from the main police headquarters in the centre of the UNESCO part pf the town. It is in a little cul de sac surrounded by Chinese neighbours and all the sights of Georgetown are in easy walking...

This is a beautifully restored house, and being there means you are in a home away from home. This is not a hotel, so the services you would expect at a hotel are not provided. Nonetheless, we couldn't have been happier having the space and amenities this house provides. We stayed in number 12. The bottom floor has a huge...

This is a wonderful house, centrally located in Georgetown but off a quiet lane (and a lane many taxi drivers don't know, so print out the location map first) The building has been beautifully converted and offers a large lounge, large kitchen/dining room and toilet downstairs, and a large bedroom, a smaller single bedroom and large bathroom upstairs. Amazing amount...

My wife and I spent a week here and really enjoyed our stay. We were greeted at the airport by Mr. Khoo who was a great driver as well as a piece of history. The apartment was well outfitted and perfect for a couple. The second bedroom is essentially unusable as their is no air con in it nor are...
