This place has decent rooms at a reasonable price compared to other places in Georgetown. A bit away from the busy centre but just a short walk. The rooms are small but ok and clean. From the outside it doesn't look that appealing or have any character but inside is fine.

I had been traveling for quite a number of time to Penang, and stayed in various Hostels. And what I realize is that The Small Inn is awesomely better, as with the equally same price, you could have your own Double Room. We were given Room 205 and I am enjoying the privilege of having a high speed internet. This...

I stayed here for a night on the fourth floor of the hotel and no elevator! My room does not have TV but i got window which is just fine, attached bathroom and double bed even. Overall it was just okay for a night stay with what i have paid.

After staying one night in a different over priced guesthouse down the street we found this little gem, the Small Inn. It was half the price and twice as nice with a lovely man at reception. Our room was clean and bright with a big window and clean bathroom with hot water. We stayed 5 nights and got new towels...

We stayed here for five nights in late March. It's in a fab location, just a couple of minutes walk from the start of Old City, 10 minutes from shopping mall and two minutes from free bus stop. It's clean but rooms are basic. Biggest improvement would be to have a better quality pillow, they were very flat. A water...

We stayed 4 nights on two separate occasions and found it to be amazing value for money compared to anywhere else in such a good location. The rooms were basic but clean with air con, en-suite, hot water and wifi. The staff were super friendly and we felt very welcome. You can get free cold drinking water from a water...

I admit, I was expecting a bit more, considering the reviews here. It's pretty basic accommodation, but fair for 50 RM. The rooms are showing some wear - the paint is peeling and the towels are thinning, but it was fine for the price. The location is pretty convenient, you have your own bathroom, and there's Internet. Can't say it...
