I stayed in Reggae Hostel for a couple of nights last weekend. The place is fairly nice, beds are clean, free breakfast is included in the price and which contains of toast, jam and boiled egg. Quiet reception area with super cute kittens sleeping on the sofas all day. Good showers and you can get a fresh towel every day.... More

Was told we could get a glass of Guinness for 10 each. We were charged 13 each in the end. They werent interested in trying to correct their mistake at all. We were also permantly attacked by mosquitoes here

I stayed for two nights at reggae hostel. I'm a solo traveller so I slept in a dorm. The dorm was a small room with 12 "podstyle" beds. The room was full, so the floor was covered with backpacks and clothing. The bed wasn't very clean, but it was okay. Same with the shared bathroom: not very clean, but okay.... More

The beds are very comfortable and you have your own pod. The showers are very powerful but cold. Not a problem for me! The hostel is very well located and you can start the art tour from the hostel. Bought a realy cheap bus ticket here after some research, the companys around offer the same for double the price. Only... More

Just off Lebuh Chuilia, this place has the perfect location for anyone wanting to be close to great food and Georgetown's street art. Little India is a few streets away, as is little china. My friend and I have been staying here for 5 days. It's no frills, but clean and our room is quiet! Comfortable beds, lockers provided, but... More

Have stayed here twice while going through Penang. Yes its a hostel, but it takes things up a step with nice service, a solid bar/restaurant, and clean/organized communal rooms. The Georgetown location is great as well.

Within walking distance to lots of great food, Little India, the street art walks and the water. Dorm is comfortable and private and the downstairs area always has good music playing. Internet does not work in big dormitories, and the breakfast is nothing to get excited about. Mugshot café around the block has killer homemade bagels and cream cheese though!... More

The hostel is in a really great location with all the main attractions in walking distant. However, that is as far as the complements go! The staff we very disorganised and when we arrived to check in for our four bed form there was already one person in there! This meant we had to wait a couple of hours for... More

This is a very cool place if you like to chill to reggae music in the sun. Drinks are okay and beers are a bit cheaper that the other places around it. I had the pizza and it was quite nice, properly the best pizza Ive had I Penang. Can definitely recommend

I was originally meant to stay here for 3 nights and extended to an extra two as I loved it so much. The beds are pod style with your own light and plug at your bed. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful and work so so hard! The breakfast is good with the basic toast, jam, boiled eggs... More
