The house is well decorate and 5 rooms. It's maintain the old authentic feel yet the room is bit modern, come with free wifi and kitchen is fully equipped. The down side is lack of packing space and the living room do not have aircon.

I stayed here for a couple night during my second trip to Penang. The hotel is located in one of the most famous street in Georgetown, you can easily roam around the street and have some drinks or food. They offer a really affordable price, the breakfast is pretty good, the room and bathrooms are clean, and they provide free... More

We had booked a Doraemon-themed room via the Agoda website. When we were showed our room, I was totally speechless. It was unlike what I saw on Agoda ~ it was MUCH BETTER than what I saw on Agoda! There was a huge hand-painted Doraemon with his buddy; Nobita on the wall. The room was fitted with a Doraemon lamp, Doraemon back rests,... More

We stayed in the old house 12 and really enjoyed it. A real homely feel and a very nice and helpfull owner who makes you feel right at home. Walkable distance to Georgetown and nice eateries right around the corner.

I paid to stay in no.12, but turned up to the guesthouse where there was no one in. Once the owner turned up after his neighbour called him, he tried to get me to stay in a windowless, cellar-like room on the ground-floor in no.8. I kicked up a fuss and got moved to no.12 after all, which was so... More

The house is a lovely old colonial style from the 30s. The atmosphere in the house is lovely, the decor makes it feel very at home. The owner Koh is very friendly and helpful. We had the family room, which was very spacious, with it's own bathroom. The room was clean and very nice. The distance to the old city... More

We loved the atmosphere of the place, it has an identity, and not just a standard hotel. Clean, clean, clean. You don't hear cars, or any street noise, but walls are thin, if there are other guests may be noisy. Free parking. It is a good place, we recommend.
