We stayed 3 nights in room 104, and it was comfortable, clean, quiet and the staff were very helpful. Internet was quick too. It looks like most rooms have been recently renovated, so the bathrooms are well appointed with modern options. Would definitely stay here again.

My 3 other friends and I stayed there for a night in a family room at 2nd level. We have chosen a family room with shared bathrooms as we only stayed for a night. Location: It is centrally located in the heart of the heritage site of Georgetown. Service: The hotel staff are helpful in directing us where to take...

This is a great building set off the road. Large clean rooms. Our room (104) had a slightly hard bed. You can walk to all the sights and food Georgetown has to offer. Location was just perfect. We went to very nearby Chowrasta morning market every morning for fruit and noodles. This is a heritage hotel, so it can be...

I stayed here on a solo visit to Penang, and took a double room with attached bath. It was what I had hoped for -- clean and properly maintained room, quiet efficient air-con, hot shower with good water pressure, and helpful front desk staff. TV had a number of entertainment cable channels in English and Chinese, though no news channels...

Basic but spacious rooms, free upgrade to deluxe room, comfy beds (spacious) decent wifi, very good location, quite yet very central. No restaurant but many good places around to grab a bite... Staff was helpful and spoke decent English. Really nothing to complain about. Overall a good experience.

I went there with my kids and my family on March 2013. We got 2 rooms, a deluxe double room and a standard double room. Both with attached bathroom. 1st, about location. The hotel location is very good. Right in the heart of Chulia Street and very close proximity to amenities like 7-11 (< 5 mins walk), bus stops (<...
