My husband and I stayed in Hotel Penaga for 2 days. Our experience was wonderful. We arrived early morning and they let us do early check-in without any extra charge. The receptionist and other staff were very nice. We loved the way the hotel is decorated.

Nice boutique hotel . We stayed in the Hutton Deluxe with a balcony for 2 nights end of April . Location : The hotel is right in the middle of Georgetown , within walking distance to the Chowrasta market and other interesting tourist must visits. As it is right in the middle of town , getting there can be a...

I was a bit unsure about whether I'd made the right choice as sometimes 'boutique hotel' can = cheap conversion shabbily done, but Penaga is wonderful. Don't expect corporate style facilities: there's a fridge but it's not stocked, no pringles, and the toiletries are basic - but it has wonderful art, reclaimed and recycled furniture, and a very comfortable bed....

We stayed in a suite which had a balcony back and front, one on the street, and one on the quiet garden, so we had the best of both worlds. The top floor suite of this converted Chinese merchant's house consisted of a bedroom area, a living area and a bathroom which was reached by our own staircase. The suite...

rooms very clean, comfortable and spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Worth paying for a room with a balcony. There is a small, very nice, swimming pool but it is right outside the restaurant window and it did feel a bit public when swimming. The food is lovely, do try the truffle soup

Centrally located, with good facilities and great decoration. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The garden is great for afternoon drinks, and it offers a peaceful and tranquil escape from the hustle of the city. My only criticism was with the breakfast, which was very basic.

If you into staying in old architechural buildings with high ceilings, with no buffet breakfast, limited other services, the desk in the room was a table not a desk then maybe this hotel is for you. It was not for me, I could take just for a few days, not a long stay

Stayed two nights at the Penaga hotel. The room was big and nicely furnished. Old style furniture and wooden floor. We had a nice big balcony and a beautiful jacuzzi and spacious shower. Staff was very helpful. Great location.

Stayed here for 4 nights and it was amazing. We took an apartment which was beautiful with a lounge, spa bathroom and large bedroom. Balcony at the front and back of the apartment. There is a spa on site which give the most relaxing facials I have ever had. It is walking distance to most areas of georgetown. I would...
