I stayed 2 nights in a sea facing family chalet. Location is good, near shops and restaurants within walking distance. Taxi van costs RM10 from the jetty to the hotel so it's very reasonable. Bearing in mind that this is a 2 star hotel, everything is great. The rooms are a bit old but generally acceptable. The swimming pool is... More

We stayed there recently for 2 nights in August. The resort is just a stone's throw away from the sea which is a plus and the main attraction for the public and those staying in nearby resorts. The room however was pretty rundown. The room has 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. The sheets were not very clean and... More

We paid RM 10 for the pink minibus from Pangkor Jetty to this hotel. A room for 3 (1 double bed & 1 single) was RM 230. We were lucky enough to get the newly rebnovated room in front of the swimming pool. Hence, the room interior and bed cleanliness were at satisfactory level. The hotel has nice seaview. Various... I have stayed in Sea View on several occasions spanning more than 2 decades and have not seen much improvement to the quality of inclusions in the rooms. The reason I still go back is the service levels of the staff, who are adorable, polite and helpful(especially the restaurant staff). I like the chalets beside the beach, but they are... More

Accessible by road from Pangkor Island jetty with a half hour taxi/mini-bus ride. The resort bedrooms were not clean and only 2 star standard but could easily be upgraded to 3 star with a revamped maintenance standard with a coat of paint, clean sheets and better furnishing. The food has a reasonable & basic 2/3 star standard and is halal.

It has been nearly 10 years since my last visit to Pangkor.I drove down the coastal road after staying a night in Penang with my family. We booked the sea front chalet for two nights hoping to have a good time since it was our 30 years wedding anniversary .Alas, it was not meant to be. When we checked in... More

It was more than 30 years ago since I last stepped on the shores of Pangkor Island. Returning to the island for a short holiday brought back nostalgic memories of the laid back island then and the first resort hotel that was in existence at that time. It was no wonder then, that despite the many newer and more luxurious... More

Weird it terms of they offer monotonous breakfast daily. 2 fried eggs, 2 toast bread and 2 hot-dog. another option is nasi lemak or curry mee. really sick of... More
