Horizon Inn is built above a restaurant and grocery shop. You need to climb steep stairs which are not suitable for old people or small kids. The rooms have a small balcony either with sea view or hill view (better lock the door as there are many monkey around looking for food). The rooms are badly lit, NO tea/coffee/cups/water provided.... More

I had a nice stay here. The rooms have a balcony facing the beach. Also there is a big balcony for us to have a good time eating together. The beach is just across the road. So many water activities there. Food stalls also very near along the beach. Food there quite expensive but the seafood is fresh. Horizon Inn... More

Horizon Inn is an appartment building, build above a restaurant and shops along the main road next to the beach. The rooms have a small balcony with see view. The food is great! The rooms are shabby: sheets weren't clean, sink was broken, bathroom light was blue (like anit-junkie-toilets) and we had company of a giant cockroach. We booked for... More

Lets face it, midrange hotels all over Pangkor (I visited every place in Teluk Nipah and also stayed a few days in Pasir Bogak) are of low standard and not maintained properly. When facing the fact I must say Horizon Inn is one of the better choises in the area for the price . Rooms are ok, not too small... More

When researching accommodation on the internet for Teluk Nipah, most of the guesthouses seemed pretty similar, so I didn't book anything in advance. I got a taxi from the ferry, and the driver took me here. I didn't have the energy to drag my stuff around and look at alternatives, so stayed here for 3 nights. The location is convenient,... More

“The front room has a balcony facing the sea but it is quite noisy due to restaurant downstairs & facing main street. Close the balcony door when you are away as monkey are known to linger around for food.”

“You might as well go for cheaper room with a balcony facing the back (towards the jungle) instead of paying for a room with balcony to the front as the seaview is very limited and there is more traffic noise.”
