We are a family of 3 and stayed at Wau Hotel for 3 nights from the 16 to the 19 of Dec.Came across this hotel after reading rave reviews from many who stayed there. We had initially planned to stay at Mutiara resort in Taman Negara but decided to give this hotel a try as it was way cheaper and...

A good clean no frills overnight stop before heading into Taman Negara. Two shops close by.. one a mini mart with everything imaginable.. the other an Indian street cafe with great food. Manian is a font of knowledge in relation to arrangements for the final leg to the Park. We left before the breakfast so can't comment on that. It...

Wau Hotel is an excellent place to spend a night in Jerantut and the region. Very clean, very helpful and attentive staff and management. The manager gave us copies of maps of the town and sat down with us and gave us detailed tips on how to maneuver in Jerantut and for our next destination (and the return) from Taman...

Wau hotel is an ideal place to stay in before tackling Taman Negara. Although it's on the main road it's extremely quiet. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful especially Maniam. We didn't have to visit NKS office to check their activities and tours, Maniam gave us all the information. He also booked the transport to the National Park...

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and used it as a base to explore Taman Negara. Rooms are quite simple but clean. The best part of the hotel is Mr Manion (sorry if we spelt your name wrong). We had been travelling for 6 months around Asia and this was the most helpful man we met! He helped...

Wau hotel, Jerantut This small hotel can be used as an economical base for a day trip to the Taman Negara national park, or we used it as a convenient stopping place so as to save one night at the very expensive Mutiara Resort and to be able to go to the resort early the next morning, rather than arriving...

fairly basic rooms but with everything you need, comfy beds and the hotel itself is spotless. Mr Amian is a very friendly host and even gave us some of his wife's cooking, the hotel is helpful with arranging transportation to Taman Negara but just be careful with 'Danz travel' as we were told a bus would take us back to...
