It's our first time at St Regis. Being part of the Marriot group, we had high expectations for the hotel. We were impressed at the early check-ins that was made possible by the team. Staff were friendly andhelpful. However, the disappointment was it came the room. We booked the room with a pool cabana. Few things that really irked were: 1. There was hair left in the bathtub when we wanted to use it. We ended up washing it ourselves again before using. 2. There were no room slippers available which is suppose to be the most basic thing to have. 3. There was patches of brown stains at the neck area of our robe. Not sure if it it's a burnt mark or something else but either way, it wasn't a nice thing to see even if it was supposedly clean. 4. I found someones cut nail at the sink area which makes me thing that the housekeeping really did a bad job at keeping the room properly cleaned out. 5. Finally, the pool had sand residue in the pool at the Jacuzzi area which was obviously left by the previous guests. Other than the 5 things above, everything else was great. Butler service was good and we definitely had a good time overall but just had higher expectations to the room's housekeeping.

It’s our first time to st Regis Langkawi. Must say while the overall experiences were great, there were some minor details that we were quite disappointed with. While we’re thankful that the team made early check in possible, we were disappointed to find hair in our bathtub, room slippers not available and what looked like a burnt stain or some sort of a brown stain on our robes. There were also some sand residue in our pool which was probably left by the previous guests. But staffs here are nice and helpful. We got a hospitality room for a late checkout so that was nice. Just expected a lil more on the small details especially when it comes to cleanliness of the room.

Near by the town and it’s convenience if you needed to do some shopping. The resort is nice and the room is spacious. You will need to park your car down the slope and a buggy will pick you up to the lobby. Raj from concierge was super attentive. He saw us carrying our luggages from far and he will rushed over to assist us. He did that twice during arrival and departure. The breakfast team was good and Safuan was regularly checking on me. The only disappointment I had was the service from other team during the stay which I have given the feedback via survey email. Glad that the management took the feedback seriously and gave me a call on this. Thank you.

Syafiq at the Pantai Grill made our dinner special, absolutely unforgettable. Thank you very much. We have travelled the world and never expected this level of service from Malaysia, it has proven me wrong. The wine was great, then the bbq selection was good too. The rain came and we had to move indoor and the whole process was super smooth. Nothing was impacted by the rain. He deserves a better and newer wine opener ... SinFook
