Stay for 3 night, the room looks luxury, spacious, but interrupted with technician repair the sewerage just beside the toilet, felt unconfortable. TV was not clear. The buggy driver was angry with his job. May be due to MCO, all activities unable to operate. If you stay the ground floor, you can hear the foot stepped upstairs. The staff during dinner & breakfast very helpfull. Congratulations. Still wonder why the boat curtain was not open, that prevent the wind flow, felt hot.

We added another day to our 3D2N holiday package after much consideration. Our last night was to be in Vivanta Rebak Island Resort. After checking-out of Ombak Villa Hotel & a kayaking session in Paradise 101, we proceeded to do some shopping in Haji Ismail & RAM Supermarkets. We also bought the usual salted fish at our favourite shop which led us to miss the 4:30 pm boat at the jetty near Tubotel. We had arrived at the jetty at 5:15 pm. The next boat was at 6:30 pm. We decided to wait for it rather than paying RM160 to charter our own boat to the resort. As parking is not chargeable, there were many cars parked at the jetty. As a result, we had to park slightly further from the waiting area. The covered waiting area was equipped with the recommended thermometer & all the SOPs were in place. There were chairs underneath the tent for waiting customers. The speedboat journey took about half an hour as the water was choppy than usual. While disembarking from the speedboat, we were greeted by a view of the beautiful picturesque marina filled with yachts & private owned boats. We were told that both foreigners & locals would anchor their boats at the fully equipped marina with docking facilities & a special area to repair boats. We walked through some sort of square or courtyard before reaching the Hotel lobby. The Hotel lobby was huge but a little dark as it was already late evening by the time we arrived. The staff who attended to me was very thorough in his explanation. He was kind enough to give the 4 of us a complimentary room upgrade. Our 2 rooms were side by side. When we arrived at our respective rooms, my friend’s room was cooler than mine. I believe it was because her room was slightly smaller than ours & the air-conditioner had been switched on much earlier. Thankfully, my 2 friends requested to change their room with ours as it was just too cold for them. Generally, our rooms were big, spacious & adopted a traditional fusion of Malay-Indian style while décor was mainly in wood furnishings which gave it a rather dark, classic & old feel. In our previous room, the walkway to the sleeping domain was long. The bed was huge & comfortable. It faces the quaint private balcony that opens up to a view of the landscaped garden & partial sea so that you can wake up to the ocean, feeling calm & refreshed. Quality & stylish furniture such as tall high-back chairs & a small table were also provided in the balcony. The room comes together with a large fan on top of our bed, small LCD TV & complimentary WiFi. The ensuite bathroom was also large. This is the only Hotel that I’ve gone to which has 2 sinks, his & hers. Such luxury! Ours had the usual bath tub & separate areas for shower & toilet. The bath amenities, Forest Essentials is an Indian beauty brand that combines the ancient beauty rituals of Ayurveda with a stylish, modern aesthetic for a more relevant emphasis on efficacy, sensorial experience and pleasure of usage. Made from natural ingredients, you can feel that they are of premium quality only after one application. The products are made by infusing Ayurvedic herbs, aromatic flowers & pure organic essential oils. There was also a small area for a built-in wardrobe & space for you to put your luggage. Breakfast was at the coffee house. Although it was a reduced buffet spread, the food offered was absolutely delicious. My friend loved the fried bee hoon so much that I had to ask the chef whether it was ok to have it packed for her lunch. Although it was very much against hotel policy, the Chef was very accommodating & had told his staff to pack it for my friend. It was ready by the time we finished our breakfast. As for me, I enjoyed almost everything & had 2nd & 3rd helpings. After breakfast, my partner & I explored the Hotel. We checked out the swimming pool & felt disappointed as it was closed due to Covid-19. There were a few lounge chairs for guests to lie about near the pool. The most romantic place in the hotel would be the Moon Deck. It is an outdoor deck with a wooden roof top that has been constructed at the edge with a view of the Andaman sea. Many candle light dinners & proposals have taken place at the Moon Deck. Apparently, there is a 6-course meal package available upon request. The Hotel also has a Spa but we did not have the chance to check it out due to the current situation. A Nature Trail was also sighted but we did not follow it as we did not know how long it would take to finish the trail. We saw a guest on a bicycle happily exploring the hotel surroundings. We would have cycled too but we didn’t know where they were being kept. There were a few cabanas strategically located for guests to sit lazily & absorb the amazing view during sunrise & sunset. Best of all, we were lucky enough to spot a huge monitor lizard near the tennis court & a hornbill on top of a tree. My only regret was that we didn’t have the opportunity to use the pool table as I only saw it during check-out time. One night is certainly not enough. I will definitely come back & stay for at least 3 nights.

I supposed to stay at the hotel end of Jan, after my wedding. But due to MCO, the holiday was postponed to April just before Ramadhan. I love the location of Rebak Island. Privacy and suitable for my honeymoon since I don’t have much plan during my stay at Langkawi. My room is spacious, have large bathroom with bathtub. Equipped with mini fridge, iron and board, hair dryer and toiletries. My room type is seaview. Hence, I can see the sunrise everyday by the balcony. I really love the breakfast menu so much. Parking area around Cenang Jetty also very spacious, convenient and its free! I can park my rented car everywhere near the Cenang Jetty. The staffs also very friendly in assisting me and my husband during our stay at Vivanta Rebak. Just the boat timing is not very good. I hope Vivanta Rebak can have more frequent boat trips and have night boat trip so I can enjoy Cenang Night life too. Looking forward to my next stay. Thank you!
