If you're looking for a hotel in Mersing it's probably because you're on the way to or from Tioman Island. There is not a lot to choose from in this town and none of the major chains have a property here. It's all small and independently owned hotels. The Embassy is clean and centrally located. You can walk there from...

Relatively average. Good price for decent sized rooms. Nothing to write home about but one of the best places to stay in Mersing for the value. You have to ask for toilet paper and they don't negotiate on prices even if you stay extra days.

Very cheap, and it shows. Mersing is a weird town, very Muslim, so don't expect to party. Embassy has a bar frequented by local drunks, worth a visit for a giggle. Room clean, but feels dirty. It is what it is, a very cheap room. Quite noisy and would maybe feel vulnerable as a loan female.

it's a place you stay only if you have to proceed to the islands, after a bust ride from KL. Not friendly staff, everything is very basic, quiet noisy, the costumer are mostly short staying, can be noisy. But location is good, you can easily walk from bus station, and again to the pier. Plenty of shops around.

A good location to overnight for you if you are going in to Tioman Island or any other Island the next early morning from Mersing jetty, It suitable and recommended if you are drive come far far away ... Its clean, budget (RM 80/room,2 single bed). I was there last two weeks before we heading to Tioman Island for our...

We spent there one night after our trip to Tioman since all buses we could take in the evening were full. Got a family room with AC at a reasonable price. It was clean and beds were comfortable. Hot water in shower. Got a room at the back - so not much noise (though our view weren't very impressive). Staff...

This place has no charming qualities whatsoever, apart from the nice Indian woman in the reception. Rooms are terribly worn down and hardly qualify for being basic. Hot water not working, cigarette burns in blankets, bathroom not draining leaving a pool after each shower, harsh fluorescent lights... the list goes on. Its cheap, but not cheap enough. Stay if you...

Perfect place to stay in for overnight stay. Very cheap and clean too. The double bed worthy for the money. Hot shower available. Basic amenities provided too and surprisingly kettle provided as well. But no breakfast provided. But rest assured, there plenty mamak store and some conviencent stores available surroundings. Wifi connection very strong inside the room. Just small hiccups,...

We stayed here the night before getting a ferry to Tioman and when we went to shower before bed, we found that there was no water at all. We went to reception and were told they would look into it. Nobody came and updated us and after two more trips down to reception after 10pm we kept being told varying...

Very simple and basic hotel. A bit run down rooms, but with a good shower in the bathroom. Aircondition works good. No elevator. Noice from the traffic on the street. Cheap and ok for one overnight stay waiting for the ferry to Tioman Island.

“Ask for higher room with city view, however DO NOTE for lower floor if you traveling with your beloved elderly-parents when you do your online booking. Special NOTES Try to book the hotel room direct through their customer service and/or receptionist as we got better rate [30% lower] for our extended night "don't forget to negotiate with SMILES" as you will have a wonderful day when you spread your smile.”
