We used to visit this place some years back but now there is a great change to their garden views and atmosphere , warmly welcomed with smiles by receptionists (David and team). Had even nice and tasty foods at their restaurant which is close to the beach. Obvious going back!!
One of the best hotels we have in senga bay.Thou i stayed for a shory time but had an advantage of surfing on the internet through their wifi of which is fast and realiable.Am now thinking of spending my Easter holiday their i believe I'll have some quality and relaxing time.simply can't wait.
This resort is one of the best in Senga bay, Service is good, restaurant food is delicious, breakfast is ample and a good start to the morning. Rooms are very good, newly refurbished & value for money, The lodge had a large, beautiful pool but, unfortunately, it is closed for repairs during our stay and we saw they are working on, hopefully, it will be in operating soon. Sandy beach area equipped with chairs and huts. Thumbs up to management who pay close attention to the details.
We had a short break at this nice resort. Advantage of some of the best WiFi connections we found in Malawi. I was able to get connected to my family using the connection in our room. The room also had a nice TV with news and a few others, but, the limited selection of international channels. The food and drinks were excellent. We picked from the menu and varied selection that had something for everyone but, the potion was too big for us. We saw many families with young children playing around, A nice spot to spend some relaxing time. And there were some birds on the grounds & we manage to spotted few birds before breakfast.
We booked a room with a view of the lake and noted it had a pool. For the time of year in Malawi a pool is essential. No other car in the car park when we arrived. In reception we looked out of the window - no water in the pool. It had apparently been drained a few weeks before. We were shown a room which seemed quite nice and had the lake view but as I have said - a pool is essential in the 35C heat.So we really can't comment on the hotel itself much. We got transferred to a sister hotel two miles away. See our review of Blue Waters at Senga Bay, Malawi.
