Admittedly, I only spent one night at Chez Maggie but my experience was very positive. It's decor is great, really atmospheric and the food was brilliant. My room was huge (it was just me) and Gary, the owner, was very hospitable. I booked my private tour of Madagascar with Gary, who runs a tour operator called Remote River Expeditions which...

We spent a week here as a base for relaxation and day trips and could not have picked a better spot. The team are wonderfully attentive and we enjoyed our time here a lot. Pool was nice, food good, the stone bungalows spacious. And the aircon was heaven-sent especially at night.

a chalet based seaside complex with good swimming pool. Meals and breakfasts were good. Staff helpful and obliging. Owner Gary introduced himself and organised a surprise birthday treat for my wife. 2 separate stays in different chalets meant we were able to sample a cross section of those available and both were good, clean and well netted for mosquito’s. Morondava...

Little diamond close to the beach, but worth it to try, there are a lot of opportunities to choose a brick or wood bungallow (I tried the last one). There is a pool and you can try local foods and cocktails. Lets try a fish-soup with local paprika (very hot!). Hotel has an own security team so you can find...

This place would have really great potential, but it S not yet at the top. Good notes are the quiet, kindness and availability of the staff, restaurant is really good and the pool is also nice. The bungalow is just ok though. It S quite basic, and the fact that the Bathroom doesn't just have a door, but it S...

We can highly recommend the two chalets in this hotel! They were spacious, clean and in first row to the beach and the evening sunset. The staff were friendly and helpfull, and were able to prepare breakfast for travelers leaving before the restaurant opens in the morning. The only drawback with the stay in Morondava was that the city closes...

A lovely quirky hotel on the beach. Fun accommodation. Good food. Excellent/quick laundry service. Gallons of HOT water - solar panels. Beautiful grounds. Lovely people who couldn't do enough for you.

Used the hotel as a base for our guided tour to Tisngy de Bemaraha using their tour company 'Remote River Expeditions'. Even though our room was the cheapest available it was very comfortable with a very good bathroom. The staff were attentive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here and using their tour company. We only stayed for one night. Food was good, they have a pool, they have wifi in reception, they have electricity, rooms were big, grounds were nice as well. Beach is close by and location is great. Nice place to stay by the beach, recommended for sure.

We stayed on 2 separate nights in a bungalow. The bungalow was clean and comfortable, but it can get chilly during the night, good thing they have blankets. The grounds of the hotel are nice. Staff was polite and the food was good. Wifi is free, but available only in the restaurant area. The beach is very close, wish we...
