Fair sized room. No lift or air conditioning but has a wall fan. Bed reasonably comfortable but lumpy foam pillows. Shower and toilet with white towels and toilet paper. Actually got a good night's sleep but noisy church bells nearby

This hotel was booked by our tour guide for 2 nights. I was shocked by all the children beggars that quickly surrounded our vehicles asking for money. My husband had to push one of them out of the way since he was blocking access to the hotel entrance. This is something we did not encounter anywhere else during our 18...

The garden court inside makes this hotel very pleasant. We experienced several quite long-lasting electricity shortages though. Something normal on the island apparently! And the windows of the room could not be closed from inside so that anybody could enter from outside and steal our belongings. But the room was pretty comfy though. The restaurant serves good pizzas really! And...

I'd been staying in very, very cheap rooms with my Peace Corps friends ($12 room split 3-4 ways, no electricity, etc) so while they spent the night in Fianar at the Peace Corps house, I stayed here. It was extremely pleasant. Good mattresses, FAN!, nice bathroom, clean crisp sheets. The only downside, like with other rooms throughout Madagascar, is they...

We stayed at the Costoyannis for 2 nights during our tour to Morondava. Room 14 - I am still stunned by the state of this hotel. I am an hotelier myself and tend to be as critical as well as understanding if I write a review. The most shocking part is that the room was not cleaned or made up...

We stayed here for two nights as part of an organised tour of Madagascar. We ended up in room 1, which was a very large room which could accommodate 5 people. (three single beds and a double bed on a mezzanine level). The beds were comfortable and all three single beds had mosquito nets and there was a small sitting...

Free WiFi. Great restaurant with pretty good pizza. Very nice garden to dine in. Clean rooms with a fan and skeeter net. Hot water. English spoken. Have and will continue to return to this hotel. Close to everything in Fianar.

We stayed here on recommendation from friends in Tulear en route to Ranomafana. The hotel and rooms were simple but felt very secure and met our needs for the night. Loved the food in the restaurant, good value overall.
