Very good place to stay in Tsaranoro valley, comfortable clean tents, tasty food and drinks, polite staff. A lot of lemurs at the territory of the camp made our staying more attractive. Special point is the swimming pool with view on Tsaranoro mountain. It's unforgettable to swim with such view or meet the sunrise while swimming.

We just had a single night in their fabulous location, everything about the place was good. The bungalows are large with a king size bed and another upstairs in a mezzanine. The bathroom is large with plent of hot water. Electricity is just turned on in the evening and can be used for battery charging but not hair driers. The... More

We spent two nights here. We were booked into the permanent tents but when we saw how small they were, we paid extra to have one of their comfort chalets. These were lovely with a large room downstairs, bathroom and mezzanine floor with another bed. From the door we have a fantastic view over the valley, framed by flowering trees.... More

Amazing two days spent at Camp Catta to discover the Tsaranoro Valley. Breath taking view from Cameleon Mount was worth the 5 hours walk. Catta lemurs were everywhere and so friendly. The bungalow was very clean, nicely done with a great view over the valley. A must along the RN7.

After two days hike from Namoly Valley, you arrive to tsaranoro valley very tired and exhausted. All you need is a nice hotel. The camp catta is a perfect place for you. There is an accomodation for all budget : independant camping, safari tents, traditional bungalows, and comfortable bungalows. The ring tailed lemurs come around and you can follow them... More

Location of the camp is perfect. You can find lots of ring tailed lemurs there - even in the camp. There were no english speaking guide during our visit, but it is possible to do some hikes without guide.

This is a nice and comfortable place with a good restaurant and friendly staff. We came in directly from the National Park after a very long day of walking and the cold drinks we were greeted with were just heavenly at that moment. This place is used by a lot of tour groups so sometimes it gets busy and making... More

If you are going to Madagascar, you MUST stop here. It is away from the beaten track, and has a special feeling about it. Not only are the people friendly and the food and bedrooms excellent, they are also trying to help the local community. They are helping the school and the infirmary which serves several villages which is very... More

We arrived at the hotel without a reservation and were lucky that they had room to pitch one more tent. The grounds are nicely kept and the accommodations vary from bungalows to big canvas tents to camping tents - we had the later and were pleased to find them very comfortable (they put a mattress in there and give you... We hiked to Camp Catta from Pic Boby and arrived full of great energy. Good news first: The Camp's physical setting is lovely, the beer in the restaurant was cold, and the view from the pool was excellent (seating and service issues aside). Ring-tailed lemurs were on our cottage roof at 4am, and it was great fun to spend the... More
