We came here to do some hiking in the preserve and also ended up exploring the old French colonial town down the road. Fascinating history! The lodge building is lovely in the traditional Malagasy style, very spacious with a common area and dining room. Fine arts and crafts give the décor a wonderful ambiance. Lovely gardens and trees. Views of...

Clean, comfortable, simple rooms with a good amount of space to spread out, a large shower with separate enclosed toilet. We had a great view over the valley which gave good bird watching opportunties. The Lodge is well run, is friendly and welcoming. The food was very good chosen from a board showing the daily menu. It's set in large...

Very nice lodge with butifull surroundings. The rooms/bungalows is spacious and well equipped. Good food, but a big drawback that they didn't have a menu in English. This is the only reason for not giving them 5 points. The waiter did a good job translating, so we survived. They had a charming welcome stature at the entrance:-)

We stayed here for 1 night during a planned road trip with an agency. This was ideal for our day trip to Amber mountain, as it's a short drive from the lodge. The rooms were beautiful and the scenery was second to none. We had a few cocktails (well priced) at the bar before a wonderful dinner at the restaurant....

This hotel was booked through our tour organizer, Cactus Tours Madagascar. Charlie with Cactus Tour was amazing. Our guide Edi was really knowledgeable and great. The Nature Lodge is a wonderful option for visiting Ambre National Park. It is located about 10-15 minutes to Ambre Mountain and is also very close to Diego Suarez. Which is great for evening walks....

Natural Lodge şs really good option for Amber Mountain visitors. Because unpaved road or bad surface roads travelling with car is really unconfortable. After Amber Mountain visit stay in Natural Lodge was very nice. We have got dinning which was pretty good. You can see Mozambik strait when you sit on terrace. You remember that ekectricity is being shutted down...

We wanted to stay close to the Ambre National Park and accommodation options are very limited, but we found Nature Lodge to be ideal for a couple of nights so you can make the most of your time in the park. Accommodation is in the form of large bungalows overlooking the Ambre mountains, with huge beds, a gorgeous bathroom and...

Made to feel very welcome by the staff. Bungalows all have a great view and are well-appointed. Good food in pleasant surroundings. A good stopping off point to the local Amber Mountain. Close to Diego Suarez which is very interesting.

It was convenient to Amber Mountain and we opted to stay there so we could do the National Park and evening walks to see the lemurs and chameleons. In hindsight, one night would have been sufficient, spending the extra night in Diego. The only drawback was the hours of having power, from 6 - 10 at night...not all day. The...

The hotel is made by a collection of bungalows and one central larger constructions with restaurant and lounge. Being about the only place to eat in the area, you will eat there, and be happy: the food was definitely good. Not much choice, but simple menu with local dishes very well prepared and deliciously tasty. The bungalow was very clean,...
