The weather conditions were perfect for practicing this water sport, offering regular winds suitable for all levels. In a week, starting from zero, we manage to understand the sail, tack and go upwind.
The kitesurfing equipment provided by the lodge was of high quality, which allowed me to fully enjoy my sessions without any logistical concerns. The kitesurfing instructors were experienced professionals who gave me valuable advice to improve my skills while ensuring my safety. The jumping photos are them ;)
Apart from kitesurfing, I was also able to enjoy the lodge's other facilities. The bungalows were comfortable and well maintained, offering stunning panoramic views of the ocean. The meals served at the restaurant were delicious, with a wide range of dishes to sample.

It is in simple and rustic but comfortable and clean bungalows that Greg the owner and Tinay his manager as well as their entire team welcome us in a surf camp concept. You immediately feel at home. The team of kite teachers is very professional and ensures flawless safety. The kite equipment is new and well maintained. The icing on the cake: delicious dishes, blends of Malagasy gastronomy and various inspirations delight our taste buds every day, not to mention the fresh juices served throughout the day. I recommend without hesitation, you will have a delicious time.

I had an incredible experience at Sakalava lodge. We visited in August with my friend, who is an experienced kite surfer, and myself, who had never kite surfed before. Sakalava was a perfect environment for both of us.
