We arrived to absolute heaven when we got to Ol Donyo. We couldn't have been happier to end our time in the bush here. The lodge is one of the most stunning places we have ever seen - all the interiors are beautiful, everything is so comfy and cosy. If you are looking for a luxury lodge with all the... More

Ol Donyo Lodge was a wonderful and unique safari experience for us. My wife and I have had the good fortune to travel often to Africa, mostly to Botswana but with other experiences in Rwanda, Kenya and South Africa, over the past 15 years and we look forward to a return to Ol Donyo. Where to begin? If you have not been to Africa, go. If you have been to Africa, you might have a sense how great the trip can be. Great Plains Conservation is running the Ol Donyo Lodge in the Chyulu Hills National Park. The only lodge in perhaps 300,000+ acres of beautiful grasslands and hills. My room framed Mt Kilimanjaro... I do not even know how to begin and am a little afraid that I might not be able to properly convey the perfection of this "must experience" destination. If Africa is on your list, I urge you to add Ol Donyo to the top of the list now. I have dreamed of going to Africa since I was 5... More

This was our 3rd stay and each time is different and full of amazing experiences. The elies are huge and beautiful. The Chyulu's are a site to behold. The best part is learning about the outstanding conservation efforts being carried by these dedicated people.

Shaun and Amy were exceptional hosts welcoming us into the Chyulu Masaai community where the lodge, Masaai and wildlife are all a part of the enviroment.
