Campi Ya Kanzi was a big surprise in the middle of great Kenyan Rift Valley. I chose to stay at Campi Ya Kanzi because I wanted to visit West Tsavo and Amboseli, and by staying there I could do both, but I hope to go back soon to enjoy the place more. The camp staff where amazing, Samson was very... More

This remote camp is a wonderful experience to be had. The rooms are beautiful and very private. The amenities have everything you could possibly need. The staff are excellent and food plentiful. We absolutely loved our surprise bush breakfast during our early morning game drive and the views having sundowners watching the sunset are something that will be remembered for... More

To start Luca and the whole Campi ya Kanzi family are great hosts, when we first arrived we were greeted by both and we had an amazing lunch. The rooms are very nice and comfortable with nice views. The best part of the lodge is that its located in a private conservancy and the maasai communities that live there are... More

This small, family-run camp combines luxury with great animal viewing. We loved our visit, We had zebras and warthogs in our front yard the entire time. We could hear the hyenas all around us at night. Our visits to local villages, schools and clinics made us feel good about the part of our fees that went to supporting the local... More

What a lovely camp and experience. Camp Ya Kanzi is perfect for people who love to hike and who want to experience the beauty of Kenya. Our host Luca was present for the majority of our trip and provided a history for the camp and area as well as good suggestions for getting the most out of our trip. There... More

Disappointing 3 night stay On our arrival at Campi ya Kanzi we were met by Tricia [-], Executive Assistant to the Director. She welcomed us briefly, ran through various extra activities available (all of which were chargeable extras) and showed us to our lodge. We then had a pleasant lunch with a very friendly large yoga group who were leaving... More

My husband and I stayed at Campi ya Kanzi February 24- March 2nd with our niece's yoga group. Everything about our stay was truly special. We stayed in the 'Kilimanjaro' tent ( the word 'tent' in this context is very misleading - it was very luxurious, with a slate tiled bathroom with a bidet and sunflower-head shower, a beautiful mosquito-netted... We stayed for 9 days (Dec.31/Jan.9), a family of four, two tented cottages. Beautiful accommodations and warmest hospitality ever. Great experience of nature and wilderness through your five senses. You get in touch with the Maasai heritage and a big family of friends. Go there, stay open and you'll see life's smiling.
