Lovely camp with very clean well spaced tents with views of the bush and Kilimanjaro. Staff is so helpful and thinks of everything. Our guide Johnston enabled us to have up close viewings with 'Craig' one of the largest bulls in Amboseli

Booked 2 nights. Stayed 3. So happy to have found a tented camp that also is very high end, but not over the top. Lovely area, great staff. Wish we could have stayed longer. Bar prices are really good, cheaper than drinking at a bar at the coast. Really good wines. Excellent food. Refreshing swimming pool. (It gets hot in...

We spent two nights at Tortilis Camp as part of our recent Kenya trip and loved our time there (1 night Nairobi, 3 nights Fairmont Mt. Kenya, 2 nights Giraffe Manor, 2 nights Tortilis Camp, 2 nights Elephant Pepper Camp). We flew in to Amboseli in the morning. Our driver had coffee, tea, and snacks waiting for us by the...

No gym or ability to exercise. Nice watering hole that attracts animals visible from dining room and some tents. Staff: Excellent service, attentive, friendly. Game Drives: Usually have two...

Despite objections our booking company provided us with their own driver instead of the local ones offered by the camp, which have access to the conservancy. This was because we were booked as non package guest despite quiet expensive price, which meant that lots of things were NOT included such as local guide with open camp vehicles, walking tour, laundry...

The camp and tents are very nice and clean. Always had hot water and wifi. I had a very nice and attentive guy assigned to me named Stanley.. He was really great and so was Freddy. Some of the other staff seemed a bit adrift, but I am there for the animals as I am a photographer. Food was decent....

With still one game drive to go this afternoon I can already say that this is a wonderful safari lodge The staff is very helpful and kind and our driver Alex does his utmost best to show us the area and wildlife. The best thing about Tortilis is that the drivers are allowed to go to a private concession just...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for Tortilis Camp! Most lodges in Amboseli are based in the middle of the National Park (or outside the eastern gate), however we are located on the south-west border of the park, providing unrivaled views of Mount Kilimanjaro and also providing guests with, as you mention, access to...
