Manu greeted us on arrival and from that moment we had the most memorable, wonderful experience. The travel to the lodge was a safari experience in itself. We'd travelled from Nairobi and were greeted with a very warm welcome and a lovely cold drink. The rooms were enormous and beautifully styled in keeping with the awe inspiring setting, each facing Kilimanjaro.... More

Accommodations at Tawi are individual adobe-like houses overlooking the conservancy grounds and close to Amboseli National Park. I stayed here for 3 nights - I could have stayed much longer. The rooms are spacious, luxurious, and with spa-like bathrooms and beds. A beautiful setting with views of the mountain and visiting animals. Fabulous breakfast and meals with fresh produce and... The setting of Tawi Lodge in the midst of a conservancy adjacent to the Amboseli National Park is absolutely breathtaking. The bandas you stay in are very spacious and luxurious, the bathroom area offering to enjoy a bath or a shower with the door open and views of the surrounding area - superb. The entire lodge is elegant and decorated... More

Our family of five kicked off a wonderful start to our two week safari at Tawi. The ambience is gorgeous (the volcano toyed with us in the late afternoon-revealing only her snowy top and was in full glory the following morning). There were hoardes of happy animals (impala, giraffe, baboons) wandering throughout the lodge's grounds. The accommodations were both unique... More

A friend and I stayed for 3 nights and days. The lodge is focused on providing a quality eco experience. It was comfortable, beautiful and a delight to stay there. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Our guide Julius was wonderful and the chef Robin created wonderful meals. Wifi access was patchy which is understandable given the remote location.

Tawi is a really nicely designed lodge right near the reserve. Beautiful accommodations that allow for the animals to be viewed from your own private deck. I have to admit I sensed a bit of tension between the manager and his staff, but the staff itself could not have been more friendly. Our guide in particular was wonderful. All in... More

Words are hard to come by when I'm describing this location. It was such a perfect place to stay with perfect views, staff, rooms, food--the entire package! It's not your blocked out style hotel, each individual lodge felt like a dream home.

I can't quite get the appropriate words to describe the experience we had a Tawi Lodge. The reception was fantastic! Staff courteous and prompt and the location is what I can describe as magical!! My friends and I received good class service and can't wait to visit the next property this management has to offer! Keep up the excellent work.
