We stopped here on the second night of our three day safari and after stopping at Aruba Ashnil (Tsavo) lodge the previous night we had high expectations. The lodge itself is located not to far from the main gate of Amboseli Park and whilst the road leading to it is quite rough in places we certainly saw much worse during... More

This place is a great little place, with a few drawbacks. The things that I didn't like were: 1) I'll start with the one that probably won't bother people at all. There's no internet. I guess, after weeks of never being connected, it started to get to me. It's understandable that they don't have it, fair enough. Whatever, not a... More

good atmosphere at dinner time, by the pool under the stars. Food quality was good and plentiful. The road has now apparently been fixed because it was not that bad. We travelled on far worse in other locations. Tents were first rate and quiet. Open them up and let in the night air.

We traveled to Amboseli recently along with our 2 young children and stayed at Sentrim tented camp. It is located just outside the park boundary with fantastic views of Mount Kilimanjaro from almost every tent. They give you a very nice welcome with Kenyan singing and music and help you get refreshed and politely provide information about the lodge. The... More

We stay 2 nights on this lodge, and it is in the middle of all African nature just outside Amboseli Nationalpark with great view to the mountains. You live in a tent, but it is with roof and stonefloor, mini kitchen and a big bathroom. The garden around is beutifull and just outside you have the African savanne. Nice pool... More

As a part of a Safari experience, you need to try sleeping in a tent. I know this is not exactly your average tent, but it's close enough. At night it's like sleeping outside, the sounds around overhelm you. We atood there for 2 nights, in one of them we had an unusual friend: a lizard. We tried to catch... More

The best lodge or camp I have been to. The tents are big and you have everything you might need in it. They are very clean. The whole camp is embedded in a really nice garden. You have a special lookout point from where you can make nice pictures of the Kilimanjaro.

First of all, I would like to mention after reading some previous reviews that there is a new management from Germany running this lodge now. The staff is around to help you, the food is excellent and the accomodation is clean. I dare to say that this lodge is even better than one of the hotels on the coast at... More

We stayed for a night. We were welcomed by the Welcome to Africa Song Awesome! We were thrilled and we could not believe that the song and tune by all the staff is for us. The staffs were cordial and friendly. Manager of the Hotel was receptive and so is the chef. Food was good. Being vegetarians we managed. The... More

While the tents were quite adequate and clean, they are jammed in in a trailer-park like setting with no contact with the beautiful country around. Due to the large number of tents, the area is quite noisy and sleep was hard to come by. It was close to Amboseli National Park although the road to the tented camp is awful... More
