Hotel Grand Terrace was located just a minute walk to Kokobuncho the entertainment district of Sendai with lots of restaurants and bars. The hotel was old fashioned. My classic twin room was clean and had a nice size. Bathroom was ok. The wifi was very fast.

While it is not located near the train station, it is only a 5-minute walk from the subway station, and just across from the beginning of a series of pedestrian shopping streets. Plenty of food options around, including a Starbucks just downstairs, and a nightclub/pub street

Very good service. Excellent breakfast. Rooms a bit small but well appointed with all controls and connectors easily available. A fraction of the block from day and night-time action. Despite this, very quiet at night. I had to move from this hotel to Westin, a 5 star hotel.
