This is family owned, cozy and friendly inn.
The hot spring has got the temperature of 47 degrees which is unbelievably hot, but the locals here do not add any water into the bath. No idea how they can manage that.... So we added water into the bath, which is ok to do so.
The wife speaks English, so no worries about the communication.

As we stayed with the breakfast plan. We tried the local specialty of Izaka, Enban Gyoza, which means "Disk shaped pan fried dumplings". You can find ordinary Gyoza everywhere in Japan, but not this one. It is crispy outside, but very juicy inside which is nothing compares to. The restaurant we visited "Hitachi" serves this Enban Gyoza together with Yakiniku (beef and pork BBQ) which is a Dream-Come-True.

This is a well located, beautiful old school ryokan with excellent private baths (you have it for yourself, although it is onsen style), although there is the pubic bath house next door if you want to experience communal bathing. The water quality is fantastic.
The owners are very nice people with interesting stories. Check out the fighting festival, it is one of the best festivals I have been to.
