Stayed one night in a twin room for 14,000 yen booked through booking.com. I liked everything about it: It is right next to the station. The room was very large with separated two double beds (firm), a proper round table with two comfortable chairs and an extra large TV . Fittings in good condition.Carpet appeared new. Bathroom with shower over... More

Metropolitan Akita hotel is located directly at the train station. It is run by the JR East railway company. The hotel is new and has slightly more than 100 rooms. The rooms are modern and are measured Japanese standards generously spacious with 20m 2. They are well appointed with a comfortable bed, a seating area, a table, flat screen TV... More

There were three of front service staffs behind counter looking. During my stay, never hear one Arigato (thank you) even upon check out. Parking... More

Decent Upscale Business Hotel, next to the train station. Starbucks is just outside the lobby, and lots of shopping in the area. Rooms were quite and comfortable, a bit on the small size by western standards. I did not try the hotel restaurants, but there is a food court above the Train Station, and more traditional looking restaurants within a... More
