Arrived in a rain storm. Owner helped us dry out. His English is very good. Large clean room. The place is spotless. Meals good value and interesting. Would recommend it. Not really a hostel. Light and bright

Very clean, helpful owner, but lack of atmosphere. Not perfect location, but fine. Rooms are simple, no inspiration, but very clean. A bit overpriced, for what you get. Not even a towel... Was expecting more atmosphere at a place like that. More potential to the place...

This is not a youth hostel, but a homey little inn with a personal touch. I stayed here the second time now, and again it was perfect. It is two stops away from Kochi station and very easy to find, dinner and breakfast at a budget price, the owner speaks English and everything here is as it should be. The highlight is that they offer an amszing choice of sake including an intruduction on the types and the process. The only downside is that Wi-Fi is not available in all rooms but everything else is perfect if luxury is not important to you. And the price is low too.

We only stayed a night but I really liked this place. The three of us booked a dorm and we ended up having the four bed room to ourselves. The only thing I didn't like was that they had installed tatami in the bunks. I'd so been looking forward to a real mattress! Obviously if you like tatami, though, it's not a negative.
