Your choice of the freshest local provenance, from land and sea, in a stunning number of dishes. Includes made-to-order items (small portions, but you can order as much/many as you like), make-your-own salads and prepared traditional Japanese and innovative non-Japanese courses. You won't find a larger selection at a reasonable price!

Although the rooms aren't the most spacious and there's no on-premises hot spring bath, it's well worth staying at. Yaya is relatively new and it shows in the modern design, clean and sleek facilities, and good amenities. The Dogo Onsen hot springs is just a few minutes' walk away, as well as the center of the Dogo area and its...

Hotel is clean and tidy. The hotel staff are wonderful. But the room is really small and no window. Better to book Deluxe room because the size is a little bit bigger. Small hotel but the price is not cheap. Breakfast area is too small so it is not good place for breakfast. To be honest, I think Dogo area...

I stayed here for a few nights for a conference. To begin with I was put in a smoking room. I have bad asthma, so after about 10 minutes I went to ask to switch rooms. Reception doesn't speak much English (and I speak even less Japanese!) however they were very accommodating with trying to understand, and I was moved...

I guess it's a bit strange to review a hotel you didn't stay in, but I want to explain. When we were shown to our rooms at this very stylish hotel, we were surprised to discover the rooms are largely Japanese style, although there were Western-style beds. This didn't work for us. The staff was wonderful, and immediately worked on...

I happened to stay this hotel for a business trip. It's not a long way from a famous Dougo Onsen Main Bath Building. I reckon service provided from hotel is average but breakfast buffet is very nice. Many veggies from local farmers. However, room size of hotel is deadly small. I felt that 90% of room is a bed. When...

Its a classy boutique hotel sited very near the Dogo Onsen and shopping arcade. Parking is ample and had no problems getting a space whenever I got back to the hotel. Roads are a little tight though but nothing unmanageable. Our family room sleeps 4 comfortably. 2 western style beds (really comfortable) and 2 japanese style-futons. Room not big but...

This hotel has no windows. Other than small ventilation windows at the high end of the walls in the bathroom and toilet, there is nothing else. Despite that it manages to be very cosy and homely. From keeping your shoes at the lockers the moment you stepped out of your floor lift lobby, to the small but somewhat calming tradition...

The hotel has an interesting name, Dogo Yaya. Ya in Japanese means house or room. It is a hotel full of surprise. The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk from Dogo onsen honkan (main house, a public bath). The hotel has its own parking space. I dropped my luggage with the hotel and went out at 2:00pm. Rooms not...

Dogo Yaya is in a good location very close to Dogo onsen & the covered shopping streets. If you want to bathe the more local bathhouse is just a few minutes from the hotel, we didn´t try it but i hear it has the same quality of water as famous Dogo bathhouse. Hotel is very nice boutique hotel, the semi-double/single...
