Not the most eye catching onsen hotel in the area but definitely worth a stay. On a previous visit to Dogo I saw the hotel staff lined up outside the hotel to farewell the guest on their departure, what a scene ! The hotel is located across the street from Dogo onsen old house. The onsen hotel located next door belonged to the same group so guests of the hotels can enjoy onsen of the neighbour hotel. There is a karaoke bar in the hotel. Souvenir shop is located in the hotel next door by going through a bridge. Lobby is located on the second floor, but there are hotel staff standing at the front door to greet incoming guests. Not very grand lobby, and smoking smell diffused from smoking corner to other parts of the lobby. I chose a room with foot bath because the public bath is good enough to bath. The room is spacious with sufficient amenities. There is no temperature control, only control with fan speed. Public bath is located on the top floor, overlooking the city. There are 2 relatively big outdoor pools, probably biggest in Dogo. It is best to enjoy the hot bath in the day time when you can see the surrounding scenery and feel the sunshine. One of the restaurants is located on second top floor, facing city, another restaurant on fifth floor. Food served is outstanding. Each table is partitioned so there is good privacy. Not exceptionally outstanding but you would not be disappointed.…
This hotel really have nice location, it's just across the Dogo Onsen (The Oldest Onsen). My Room Also Nice, and they have like a "Buttler" in every Room, which arrange Our Dinner, Set Our Bed (Japanese Style), Arrange Breakfast (The Latest 08.30), Clean Our Room. Everything was very nice n well plan. The staff are really helpful eventhough none of them can speak English. They Have a Big Room with 2 Rooms and it has Onsen for Foot on this room.
