Hotel Nikko is a conveniently located middle class hotel, that caters mainly for Japanese families. Rooms are big for Japanese hotels, clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet has a great choice of continental and Japanese breakfast options. The Harusa restaurant does Korean barbecue with Ishigaki beef, which is justly famous.

The stay in Yaeyama Nikko Hotel was of good value. It's not very expensive like the other top notch resorts on the island or other outlying islands but it's a typical family resort in Japan with everything you need and the facilities and services are decent. Although they don't feature a hotspring but the big public bath place was good...

Customer service was great. And the scenery with ocean view from our room was epic. When I was a teenager, I stayed at this hotel for a few days. As the good memory then keeps on mind, I came here again.

This hotel has a great breakfast and dinner buffet! We came here as part of our package tour to Okinawa, but we really enjoyed staying here. There's an onsen hot spring bath area within the hotel (we didn't get to use it though) and there are shops and even a radio station on the first floor! There was also a...

The hotel is nice and big and in a quiet neighborhood away from downtown Ishigaki. The rooms are large, nice, clean and comfortable. WI-FI in the rooms however the response was terrible – it was slow and many times prevents access to the internet. Very nice breakfast buffet with eggs cooked to order.

The hotel has decent size rooms, not Japanese in size at all. Beds were pretty comfy and the rooms although a little dated are fine, clean and have no issues. The staff are super friendly and keen to please. In terms of location its 15 mins walk downhill into the town centre and 18 uphill back. A taxi only cost Y490...

Staff were extremely friendly and tried to help wherever possible, even though English was not there strong point, but, they will still try to help. I find the restaurants in the hotel quite average and very pricey. Rather have a look a the top rated restaurants from the Tripadvisor list for Ishigaki. They are all within commuting distance (we rented...

I'm glad I picked this place for our trip to Ishigaki. The hotel is approximately 25 minutes by car from the airport. I'll start with some things I liked about the hotel. Liked: - The staff was very friendly and helpful. - The staff had a crib ready for our daughter and it was free. - The yakiniku restaurant in...

We enjoyed the onsen, nice clean room, ample parking spaces and good service. The location is also good. Just 5 min drive to a big supermarket which is very convenient! It is not in the main town where shops and restaurants are located. But we had a rental car, so that was not a problem.

It's not expensive, clean as you can expect, but it is not the comfort of the usual Nikko brand. It is not exactly located in the city center, so you need to walk 20min or use a car. Staff does not speak good english or not at all, but they are helpful. They have a laundry room, which can be...
