We have requested a room for four and we have a splendid time with our two boys. The room is spacious to fit 4 pax and 3 big luggages, and still allow is to move comfortably. Welcome drinks are compliment at this point in time. The hotel is minutes away (by driving) to Shiroyama Park and the UNESCO site, Senganen...

Good hotel. My room with a double bed was good and clean. There is a working desk, a chair and a mini fridge. Bathroom was small, typical in most local brand hotels. Upon check-in, we were offered couple of drink coupons for beer or soft drinks at the restaurant or you can bring back to your room. This was a...

Nice modern room. It's more of a buisness hotel but the staff was really nice and spoke English very well. We had a really nice stay in this hotel. The location is really great, close to aquarium and ferry for sakurajima.

I had made the mistake of not planning my trip to Kagoshima, went on impulse, luckily Richmond had a room open! Let me start by saying, this is a beautiful hotel, yes it is on the pricey side but that is probably due to my case as mentioned. The staff was helpful and had a few English speaking staff which...

We stayed in this chain of hotels a few times in other location and tried this one in Kagoshima for one night before moving on to Sakurajima. The value was great at less than 6,000 per room with breakfast. Hotel is clean and the room has a spacious bed for two, otherwise very small like all other hotels like this...

Right across the street from Yamakataya department store and Tenmonkan shopping arcade, in the heart of the city. A 5min walk to the Dolphin Port and ferry terminal. Clean, small rooms, any amenity you have wished for including make-up remover, bath salts, drip coffee and tea. Comfortable! We have been their guests for three nights and would love to stay...

Having never visited before I took a chance booking this hotel and found it comfortable, quiet and clean. Just a short distance to museum, gallery and the bay, it has a good location. If you don't want a big breakfast tnere are coffee shops and bakeries nearby. The added bonus for me was the self service laundry, 300 yen to...

My husband and I stayed here for one night prior to taking the ferry to Yakushima the next morning. We found the location very convenient as it was right on the corner at a streetcar stop, which we took from the train station. We settled into a reasonably-sized room for Japanese standards and then it was easy walking distance to...
