When we stayed there low season it was completely empty. We therefore had the very nice couple owner just for us. They speak decent English and will strive to make your stay the best possible! Their private onsen competes with some nice ryokan ones, its outdoor bath is large and VERY warm! 86° out of the pipe. The breakfast was...

This "minshuku" is like a Japanese ryokan without all the conventional fussing! It's located extremely close to ALL the tourist attraction in Ibusuki, but not that close to any stores so be sure to have some snacks with you if you like to eat between meals. Their beautifully set natural onsen is dug up on site and instead of separating...
