During a long weekend stay in Fukuoka with friends and with little other choice we stayed at this capsule hotel. The biggest positives are price / location. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main entrance of Hakata Station. It is, as to be expected for a capsule, cheap. We paid just under ¥4,000 for one night. Check... More

I stayed in one of the "deluxe" capsules--in these you get a small room with closet, a desk and chair, internet access and a door that locks. Before you check in on the main floor you... More

When in Rome..., as the saying goes. When in Japan, stay in at least one capsule hotel! This one in Fukuoka was spotlessly clean and very efficiently run it seemed. I am pretty sure it was a men-only one and I have been told that many capsule hotels are. So, ladies may wish to check or try another. Let me... More
