This ryokan offers a halal menu, so Muslims who want to have a ryokan experience should definitely try this ryokan. I found no fault with the ryokan, except that the staff don't speak much English (not a problem with me, but just to note). Access is not that easy, but you can take a cab from Kyoto. Costs between 6000...

My friends and I stayed at this hotel during Sakura Season because we were desperate to stay in a ryokan. Although Yuzanso is a hotel, it still managed to be traditional as it should be. We were drawn aback with the price at first, but the service, the food, the rooms? I think we paid too little to receive all...

We booked 1 night at the Japanese room with private open air bath and lake views and I highly recommend it! The food was amazing, the service was excellent and the futons were the most comfortable of all the ryokans we stayed so far. They have public onsen but I didn't bother to visit. They also have a store on...

Once you reach Ogoto onsen station, there's a public payphone near the drop off point for buses and taxi. Give them a call and they will pick up you up within 5 mins. Check in was very quick for us. The staff actually showed us personally where our room is, our yukata size and the rules for the public hot...

My stay for one night was not enough!! It was such a great deal! We chose the hotel kaiseki musilm plan where dinner and breakfast was provided in a ryokan-styled restaurant. The serving was really generous and the amount paid was totally worth it!! There was no wifi in the room and only in the lobby so depending on how...

My partner and I stayed at the Ryokan for only 1 night. The experience we had was really awesome. We took a train from Kyoto main station to arrive at the Otogo-onsen Station where there's a free pick up by the Ryokan's Van. We reached pretty early at about 12pm (check-in was strictly at 3pm) and get the chance to...
