Stayed in late July 2016, one room with two other people. Location is peaceful & beautiful, a short taxi ride away from train station, saw many deer on arrival. Excellent, very attentive service. Some english, but staff are very accommodating and helpful. A female staff member will help females put on their colourful yukata. There is a regular set for... More

This place is the perfect spot for visiting Nara. The location is ideal and gives you a very special, peaceful experience. The staff are very kind and accommodating. I recommend having dinner and breakfast in the ryokan to get the full experience.

If you want to experience culture immersion I recommend this Ryokan. A traditional Japanese hotel. The workers here make sure you feel welcomed and comfortable . They will ask you what kind of breakfast you perfer and i recommend the japanese breakfast. They will show you which places to go with an English map available and wonderful staff (they can... More

We loved our one night in an ensuite Japanese-style room. Compared with our previous ryokan, it didn’t have a private hot spring bath and was smaller and simpler; however that was compensated for by a more Japanese experience. Meals were served in our room on a low table, with us sat on legless chairs with our legs poked under the... More

Stayed here for two nights with 3 kids and we were pampered from start to finish. Experiencing a Japanese style Inn with great food, stylish and spacious room, and a luxurious hot bath sooths the senses. The kids loved being dressed in the kimonos and wearing the wooden slippers. Located on the quiet side of Nara Park, this ryokan is... More

Spend a night there whilst visiting Nara. It is just a few minutes drive away from the principal tourist spots. The hotel is clean and staff is very helpful. The room is of good size which makes our stay an enjoyable one. Both dinner and breakfast are with good quality and served in the room which gives us a sense... More

Not the nicest ryokan we stayed in. Still, it has a wonderful location, attentive staff, nice atmosphere, spacious rooms, and well-equipped bathrooms. Beautiful Yukatas were offered to the ladies upon arrival and there are kimono and haori for all in the room. Dinner was quite dissapointing: a do-it-yourself hot-pot with few flavours and no instructions. Breakfast was better: a Japanese... More

Excellent service...staff was outstanding. Great soaking tub in room. Wonderful location on the edge of Nara Park...on the side opposite from the center of city. Easy walks to the sites within Nara Park. Great cherry blossom viewing.
