Situated in a park about a mile from Nara, Musachino suffered from the dreary effects of cold, rainy day where nice walk into town wasn't glorious. A typical Ryokan, it needs sunshine to make it a winner. Staff were lovely.

We stayed for one night in a room for four people. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and were even quite helpful even after we checked out, holding onto our bags while we explored the park, and even bringing us tea when we returned! You'll definitely want to get the dinner/breakfast options that they offer, otherwise you'll be missing out... More
