What a great cultural experience for our family of 5 to stay as such genuine traditional Japanese accommodation - roll out futons, a sumptuous Japanese dinner served at the low table, followed by western and eastern breakfast. Highly recommended for families or couples : staff very friendly and kids loved their kimonos. A great location - walking distance to nara...

Situated in a park about a mile from Nara, Musachino suffered from the dreary effects of cold, rainy day where nice walk into town wasn't glorious. A typical Ryokan, it needs sunshine to make it a winner. Staff were lovely.

We stayed for one night in a room for four people. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and were even quite helpful even after we checked out, holding onto our bags while we explored the park, and even bringing us tea when we returned! You'll definitely want to get the dinner/breakfast options that they offer, otherwise you'll be missing out...

They have the choice when the weather allows to offer you a picnic breakfast to go to this park before it opens and enjoying the views. Walking distance to everything you want to see. They have yukata...

Some english, but staff are very accommodating and helpful. A female staff member will help females put on their colourful yukata. There is a regular set for...
