Beds are ok , room clean , nice to have tea, coffee facilities. Also easy walking distance free train station
However the grumpy man at reception and dreadful breakfast (cold omelette ) spoiled our stay.
Yes it needs updating, the bedroom was basic but you could help yourself to coffee, tea, juice or water at any time. You were allowed to take food back and eat in the reception/eating area which was a great plus, other hotels don't allow this....More
