Although the entrance has a bit tricky to find, it’s actually next to CROSS GATE. I booked the bay view and I love the night view when the ferris wheel has lights on. The room is smaller than I expected, it’s clean tho. It also has some essential amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body cleanser, toothpaste and towels. They have provided other amenities (cotton swab, razor, hair brush and cotton puff) at 5th floor we can take whatever we need. However they do not have any bottle of water in the room and we prefer to buy from the convenience store downstairs rather than drinking from the tap. I’m impressed that they are using POLA which I love this brand!! The hotel is pretty close to JR station and have a lot of restaurants around, also have bus station nearby. I’d probably stay at this hotel again when I come to Yokohama next time.

I stayed at this hotel for 1 week during my business visit to Japan. This hotel is located outside Sakuragicho station and is 10 min away from Yokohama station. The check in is located on 5th floor and there is no porter for luggage assistance. I had to carry all my suitcases to 5th floor for check in. Since this was my first visit to Japan, i requested them to show me the room first before checking in but they refused. So i went ahead and completed the check in. When i requested them to help me with the luggage as i was carrying two large suitcases they even refused for the help. They pointed me to the luggage trolleys kept in the lobby and told me that i only have to manage the luggage till my room. When i entered my room, i was so disappointed. The room was so small that there was hardly any space to move. There was not even sufficient space to keep my luggage. I immediately went to the reception desk and asked them to give me a bigger room. They told me that they are sold out and upgrade is possible only if i pay more. I paid them 5000 JPY per night to get an upgrade to next category room which was slightly bigger. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling to Japan for business or tourism. The hotel staff is not at all supportive.

The room was good as it was larger than most Japanese rooms. However, if you are a Western guest, I would recommend not to add the breakfast as it is a not value for money and the staff and rude and don't like making any changes for clients. Eat what is there or walk out.

Like many Japanese hotels this establishment offers well equipped, but small rooms. Cleanliness was to ahigh standard and staff were friendly and efficient. Wouldn't allow an early check in, but happy to hold luggage on date of arrival and departure. Very good bufffet breakfast with wide range of local and internationql choices. Bed was comfortable. Close to city centre and transport links.

The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the East Exit of JR Sakuragicho Station but not obviously noticeable because it is located inside a modern high rise complex called Cross Gate and the building exterior carries no signage of the hotel. It is also convenient for tourists who are joining the Princess cruises leaving from Osanbashi Cruise Terminal as it is only a 10-minute ride by taxi. The room is rather small but is very well equipped with coffee maker, fridge and even slippers are provided. The beds are comfortable. The only drawback is that the reception staff speak limited English.

Rooms were ok a little on the small side , view however was very nice. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Hallways had an aroma of stale cigarettes. Tried to forward my luggage and they just said this was not a service they offer which I couldn’t believe as had stayed in smaller hotels across Japan and they all did , I was then directed by the not very polite man at reception to the 7-11 under the hotel where due to the language barrier found it impossible to communicate and forward my luggage which was a huge pain as you know how chaotic the subways get.. anyway rant over.. Hotel overall very good no complaints and great location.

The hotel is ideally located near the train station and we had excellent views from our room. The rooms are small but we weren’t there to spend time in the room! The best part was when I left my favourite shoes under the bed, after a bit of back and forth, managed to get them forwarded to my next hotel. Thank you very much to the front clerk KUDO for your assistance!

Stayed here because we just needed a night. A small old hotel where the lobby is located on the 5th floor if I remember correctly. Check In/Out They are very terribly strict with their timing which makes them extremely inflexible. I arrived at 12pm and they insisted I come back at 2pm. Doesn't matter much as I have a lunch appointment anyway. And check out at 10am sounds like a Japanese thing because most hotels in the world are usually 12pm, if not 11am. 10am???? It's really weird but I guess tolerable if you're not too fussy about it. Room (Bay View Semi Double Room Non Smoking) Paid a bit more to get the room with bay view and it was worth it. Really small room but we only have a bagpack each so the room size was sufficient. If you have suitcases you probably will complain it's too small. For us it was okay since there's no suitcases and it was only for a night. This room is a very typical tiny room in Japan so bear in mind if you have suitcases you def want a bigger room or choose another hotel. Also, the walls are quite thin so if you're a light sleeper this will be an issue. Verdict I don't mind staying here again if it's only one night with no suitcases. Anything more, I'll choose Sheraton or something as this hotel basically is a stay only hotel - don't expect any service or whatsoever.
