Booked this hotel as one of the hotel websites said it was 1 km from Haneda airport, and the hotel advertised a free shuttle. Well, it is probably 1km from the airport - on the other side of the river, so unless you plan on swimming, the distance is greater. Also, the shuttle is from one of the subway stations, not directly from the airport itself. When we arrived at the subway station, we were unable to find the pick up location and ended up taking a taxi at a cost of 2800 yen. On the return trip, we managed to catch the shuttle to the subway and ultimately to catch the Shinkansen. The western style room was nice, modern, and clean, with an artsy warehouse theme. The immediate surrounding area seemed to be an office / business park so there were really no attractions nearby, other than the river and a bike / jogging path right outside. The view of the river was nice. There was a convenience store within 5 minutes walk of the hotel, allowing for purchase of food and drinks. Staff was friendly, and spoke English. We arrived on Christmas day and there was a Christmas tree, which made us further feel at home. The hotel is trying to be environmentally friendly as they get fuel from a nearby recycling plant (Hydrogen I believe). Overall, this is a good hotel if you need a room which is fairly close to the airport at a reasonable price.

This place was absolutely incredible, I arrived very early in the morning and the reception team were friendly and more than happy for me to leave my luggage behind the reception until check in. I then hopped back on the free transfer into Kawasaki which is a great bonus. The only downfall for the shuttle was I did not understand where the pick up point was so unfortunately missed a few shuttles to get to the hotel. Other than that the place was spotless, well equipped and could not fault. The showers are also amazing and probably the highlight of my trip! (As well as the view from the window!)

All in all a great place, however, one should consider few things when going there: 1) Why isn't this place called the Warehouse? Our taxi driver had a problem to find this hotel because of a confusing name 2) very nice and helpful staff, however, with poor English often impossible to understand 3) we got to the hotel in the evening before our next day morning flight and wanted to eat something. We did not have a reservation in a restaurant ( did not know we had to have one) so we had to walk about 15 min to find a place to eat. We were given a map of the local area and names of places but the staff were not able to direct us so initially we went in the opposite direction. Given that most people be staying here for a night to catch the next day flight, I really do not want to waste the time to be walking around.

We chose this hotel due to the proximity of the airport on what was to be our last night of our visit to Japan. A sad occasion to be leaving a wonderful country and city but I couldn’t have been happier with the hotel! The Skyfront is essentially a very large boutique hotel, it has a fun arty vibe to it, the decor is cool, modern, tasteful and relaxing. We visited both the bar and the restaurant and both are to be recommended with good food and a large and eclectic selection of drinks. The room was very comfortable and included everything we needed, the staff were super friendly, happy and welcoming. Overall a really great place to stay at a very reasonable price, I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Very "hip" and interesting decor. Feels very new, lots of space and room, not just by Tokyo standards. Somewhat close to the Haneda airport, great views from some rooms and even a viewing observation deck of sorts on the 5th floor. 2 restaurants. Large bedroom, although the bed was rock hard. I'd recommend this for business travelers or anyone in the area.
