Summary: Terrible food, suite lacks privacy (see pictures), bad service, and be prepared to walk a long smoke filled hallway to get to your non-smoking room. This was the most expensive place I’ve ever stayed at (800 USD per night) and also the worst place I’ve ever stayed at.

Firstly, we really appreciate for your staying in Kitanokaze-Saryo and thank you for your valuable comments. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience no one in the front desk at night while you’d came in. We will try to increase the staff size and improve lack of workforce. Also, we are horribly sorry for lack of readiness about your breakfast. As we haven’t shared that you didn’t want the breakfast, we have rang the doorbell and knocked on the door many times in spite of you getting a shower. We are terrible sorry to cause you inconvenience and be careful about it from now on. We’ll make farther efforts in providing better service. We hope you’ll stay our Ryokan again in the future.
