We ordered superior twin room, turned out the room is very spacious and the bathroom has a bathtub with a view of Hakone countryside. We were given a 45-minute private onsen for free. Highly recommend the private onsen as it got bamboos as the backdrop and I like the milky white water. For dinner, we had over 10 dishes and... More

Spent a night here. Small local hotel with small but clean public onsen. They also have private onsen good for 2 or 3 person at a fee. Room size good for 3 of us. Receptionists can speak both English and Mandarin. Dinner & breakfast were very good. We had free flow of beverage including sake, wine & beer! Quite and... More

It is quite nice hotel but in need of some basic updates. The Japaneese style room is spacious and clean with large table and tea set. There were robes and slippers in the room and special basket equiped with new socks, new small towels for onsen and toiletry neccesities. We loved the Japaneese style breakfast, absolutely wonderfull and plentyfull. The... More

Slept a family of four in one tatami room -- a fun cultural adventure! We did both breakfast and dinner over two days. The food was both high quality and abundant. It really does feel great to dine in one's yukata! 12600 for breakfast and 25000 for dinner. The outdoor communal onsen is one of the nicest I've experienced in... More

My family and I had a very enjoyable stay in the hotel. Its very comfortable and has a lot of very cool amenities like an onsen and a traditional Japanese breakfast. The onsen is also open 24/7 more or less so if you time it right you can have the whole place to yourself. It's also well connected to the... More

Thank you for your stay. We are thankful that you are satisfied with our White Onsen. Hakone is more traditional than Tokyo and Kyoto. We are pleased that you could enjoy the Japanese traditinal Onsen, meals and Ryokan culture. Welcome to Japan again if you have any chance. My wife and I were celebrating our honey moon in Japan and spent one night in this hotel. It was our worst experience in a Japanese hotel by far due to the poor value for money of this place. There are several thing we did not like about this hotel: 1. It is located in the middle of the nowhere.... More

We stayed as a couple for one night as part of a trip around Japan. We booked through Expedia, which was cheaper than Booking.com, and unbeknown to us our package included a trip to the private onsen. We were half board and dressed in the yukutas for dinner and breakfast as well as our visit to the private onsen. Dinner... More

Amazed by this place. I booked the superior room which was quite expensive for my boyfriend's birthday. It totally lived up to my expectation! The room was nice, had a toilet and a very pretty bath tub on the room. Also had a minibar you could buy stuff from and complementary mochi from Hakone. The staff was really friendly as... More

My fiancé and I loved this hotel. We spent 2 nights here between Tokyo and Kyoto. We chose this hotel because it offered milky, private onsens. We used the private onsens twice during our stay and would thoroughly recommend them! They're reasonably priced (3000 yen for 45mins for the biggest - and can comfortably fit 2 people, the smaller one... More

My partner and I stayed here in June '16 for two nights. I want to highlight the friendly, kind atmosphere from everyone at the front desk to the restaurant to the cleaners who were absolutely superb! My experience differs from my partners - who unfortunately had tattoos and as such was unable to use the public onsen at this ryokan.... More
