Had a nice stay at this hotel for business travel. Very convenient as it was within easy walking distance from the bus terminal we were dropped off coming from the airport in Narita. It was also very close to the Tsukuba Express train station that we used every day to commute to work. There is a mall right across the... More

Six night for a conference at the university. Big room for Japan, lovely big bathroom too. Very comfy bed and pillows, internet behaved most of the time. Staff were very helpful even when after forgetting several items after checkout. Only blip was breakfast, not a huge selection, very standard-cereals, croissants, omelettes and Japanese items.

This is a very good local hotel. The rooms are not too small by Japanese standards and the service is excellent. Enough staff speak English if you don't speak Japanese for you to be able to make do. The breakfast has a good choice of Japanese and Western options.

The hotel is located a 5 minute walk from the bus stations and train station which is ideal if your arriving by public transport. I stayed here whilst attending a conference at the epochal conference centre which is about a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is located in the centre of Tsukuba, so it's near plenty of shops, including... More

This was my first time in Tsukuba, so I was pleasantly surprised when the bus from Narita Airport dropped me off at the nearby bus and train station, and the hotel did not disappoint. My room was in the annex on the fifth floor overlooking the plaza linking the two hotels. Clean and quiet, with more than enough space for... More

I stayed the weekend here for a group convention. We had a great time. I was a bit concerned having booked a triple room..but they add a third bed to a twin room..and it was comfortable. As a twin there would have been a little more room...but it wasn't bad at all. Unlike most all roll-in beds I've experienced..it was... More

Stayed here a few times when working at NIMS, it's within easy walking distance. Basic shopping centre opposite with a supermarket and a few bars & restaurants. Breakfast is poor, no buffet you have to choose a fixed option like salad with chips and dried up fried egg, weird even by Japanese standards! Air conditioning controls should be relabelled heating... More

Stayed here four nights when attending conference. All staff (reception and breakfast) were helpful and professional, even where we had no mutual language. Tea-making facilities in the room although took me a while to master the hi tech electric kettle. Good location for the conference centre which is easily walkable on the elevated cycle/pedestrian axis. Also walkable from train station.... More

I recently stayed four nights while commuting back and forth to work at the local university. The hotel is centrally located to many shops, restaurants, and local sites. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful at every step. The rooms are spacious - not a typical Japanese-style room...I loved the leather swivel chair as I found it so comfortable that... More

On my first trip to Japan I stayed at this hotel. The staff is, not surprisingly, extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is in terms of English style prepared at the buffet by a chef on your choice. The hotel holds the biggest indoor pool I've yet seen, but also the lobby gives you the impression that everything is big.
