We arrived at Narita airport around 9pm. The Richmond hotel is in the center of Narita which is one stop with the train. Then a short walk from the train station to reach the hotel. Nice hotel for a first night's rest after a long flight. The next morning we used the convenient shuttle bus to the airport in order... More

We decided to stay overnight in Narita township rather than at one of the 'airport' hotels where we have stayed before. Good decision! Helpful friendly staff, hotel room large by Japanese standards, and super comfortable. A two minute walk around the corner to a great sushi restaurant, and an easy 10 minute walk to the mall. We also enjoyed being... More

The only reason why I didn't give this a five-star rating was because of the room. It's incredibly small. Two of us with luggage had a difficult time getting around the room. The bathroom was dated and had poor lighting. That's the only negative. The positives far outweigh: just steps away from the train station, excellent hotel breakfast options for... More

A very good choice for staying close to Narita airport. Inexpensive considering the quality of the hotel. Automated check-in/out machines but help is available. Good size rooms and free Wi-Fi throughout. Did not try their breakfast. A convenient 2-minute walk to the train station (lifts are available for those with bags to avoid the steps). They do have a free... More

My daughter-in-law and I stayed here for 2 nights in August 2016. We had a twin room with 2 beds. For Japan, the room was quite large (not so much by American standards). It was very clean, very comfortable. The beds were really comfy. The pillows were a bit hard and overstuffed, gave me a neck kink. Not much space... More

Great spot, we stayed one night only but would stay a few. The bed was comfy for my wife and I. I'm 6ft and slept very well. The location is great as it is a very short walk to the main area of the village and 10 minutes or so to the Temple. Also is super close to the train... More

We decided to stay overnight here at The Richmond as we could not get a flight down to Okinawa until the next morning. We followed the info for the pick up bus as we really could not be bothered with the train after a long flight. The bus took 35 mins due to heavy traffic, but not a problem from... More

At first glance this seemed a ho-hum 4 star Hotel in a semi-industrial area. Do not be deceived. Whilst the Hotel was fine, breakfast good, the real gem was a short walk away. With a few hours to kill we took their advice and took a moderate walk (maybe 500m) towards the Temple (not that we are in to Temples... More

I stayed in double room, the bed is big enough for 2 ppl (54 inches) and plenty space to open the luggage. Close to Keisei Narita Station, please use the east exit, and there is a Lawson convenience shop nearby. Very good for catching early flights. You can take shuttle bus (¥210, close to West station, route number 6) to... More

The hotel is a 10 minute stop from the airport on the local train on the Keisei main line. One way train ticket is less than 300 yen. Check-in was easy and the room although on the small side has tv, humidifier, pants press, tv, small refrigerator and pajamas and slippers. If you forgot any toiletries, the bathroom has toothbrush/toothpaste,... More
