This is my usual business hotel for an overnight stay to break up the train trip from Tokyo to Sapporo. Very inexpensive, but super clean and has all amenities like Internet, TV, phone, Video On Demand Movies, vending area, etc. Rooms are typically a bit small, just like most Japanese business hotels, but there is enough room to move around,... I booked my room via japanican.com. It was including breakfast and Goryokaku Tower admission ticket. It was surprising me that the room was quite big for one person. I had it on the high floor and I could see the sea from my windows. The hotel is near tram stop, or 20 minutes walking from JR Hakodate station ( I... More

Many eateries restaurants nearby from the iconic Lucky Pierrot burger chain to the famous Tenya tempura run by an old Japanese couple. Walking distance to the Mt Hakodate rope way which means not having... More

We only spent a short time here, practically just to sleep but the staff was extremely helpful and warm. The hotel is walking distance to the Hakodate ropeway. Easy to get to the hotel via tram. We took a cab most of the time getting around Hakodate since it was raining on the day we arrived. What I loved most... More

There is a microwave on the 2nd floor. Bicycles are available free of charge for up to 4 hours use. The hotel is located within 10 minutes walk... More

Nice hotel with free coffee machine in lobby (nice coffee), 5-10m walk from ropeway to mt Hakodate. Close to tram stops. Clean rooms and reasonable size (most Japanese hotels are smallish compared to Aus hotels) but you are just sleeping there after all,
