I figured most of the reviews here are in Japanese and so it must be the locals who are staying there. I backpacked to Toyama for 2 reasons: Tateyama Alpine Trip and Tonami Tulip Fair. This town is situated in between both attractions. Honestly while I was there, I did not see any foreigners/tourists residing in this town. Mostly are Japanese folks and seldom the people there speak English. A little knowledge of Jap language will help.
I got the single room because all double room are fully booked (which shows how popular it is to the Jap tourists). Me and partner each took a single room.
- Hotel is very near to the JR Toyama station and the Dentetsu Toyama railway station.
- Not the nearest hotel to the stations but it's only a mere 5mins walk down the main street. Easy to find.
- Lots of eateries around the hotel. Won't go hungry. A cheap Yoshinoya restaurant is within perimeter and so are the convenience shops.
- Staff do not speak English well. Must... More
