I stayed here in standard double room for 2 nights with my aunt and I can easily say that this was my best experience ever. I can suggest you this hotel and you will never want to leave. Everything was perfect! gorgeous views, great staffs and beautiful room.

I booked Corner Suit with Kaiseki dinner and buffet breakfast to stay with my friend. The room is very spacious, well appointed with great bath with view, nice living area, bed room and hall way and terrace. It has beautiful garden view, and Mt Fuji weather permitting( not today) . Kaiseki meal was very nice. Staff are attentive and professional.... More

One wall of our room faces Mount Fuji in the distance, overlooking green forest, sparkling city lights of Shimizu, and the bay and ocean. Everything at the hotel is run smoothly, with efficiency and Zen-like calm. The food is wonderful, and a free shuttle takes you to Shizuoka, where you can catch the bullet train to Kyoto or Tokyo. But... More

Wonderful hotel along with it's nice view and big garden. I can suggest you this hotel. Everything was perfect! Enjoy with Fujiyama's amazing scenery from the room and its nice balcony. If you are visitors in this city, you should stay at least one night in this hotel!

We stayed overnight at the Nippondaira hotel to see Mt Fuji. The hotel is fairly new and zen type in design. Staff were friendly and check in was a breeze. We got a twin room facing the parking lot which isn't so great but the room size was adequate and amenities were good (free wifi, coffee, tea and bottled water).... More

A group of 4 visited this lovely mountaintop hotel that offers magnificent views to Mt Fuji in the distance. Unfortunately it rained for most of the time we were there and misty cloud obscured the view every day. Not the hotel's fault of course but it did detract from our enjoyment of the stay. The buffet breakfast cost ¥3100 per... More

Stayed here 12 months ago. We enjoyed the leafy uphill drive to the hotel. We chose the cheapest queen bed room with a view of the carpark, opting to save money and see the view from outside the room. The next morning we got up and went outside to enjoy a fantastic view of the bay area below and Mt.Fuji... More

日本平飯店 is probably the best hotel that I ever stayed in Japan. The excellent view at the lobby/rooms and the newly rennovated rooms are the 2 selling points of the hotel. The seaview rooms are also much better than the hill view ones; and you may be able to see Mount Fuji if the weather is good. The price is... More

The view is extremely beautiful. Even better without clouds to hide mt. Fuji. Nice park area around. We have been here for the lunch buffet. Here comes the drawback. It was presented very decoratively. The ingredients were fresh and the location offered a nice view into the kitchen. However the flavor was rather disappointing in my opinion. Mostly because there... More
