We had one night at Yokikan to get the experience of staying at a Japanese inn with hot springs. It was easy to get to by train then a short taxi ride which we were reimbursed upon check in. We were upgraded to a larger room with view and private tub in room which was a nice gift. We arrived...

My family of 4 stayed at Yokikan during our stay to Ito, and all of us unanimously agreed that it was one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in. Customer service was terrific from start to finish, even while we were booking the room. I emailed Yokikan enquiring about their rooms as the descriptions on the website were...

We are a family from HK with 3 children. Hotel staff are all friendly and helpful. As the hotel occupancy on the day we visited was not full, the hotel upgraded our room to a luxurious room with larger room size with private onsen. Highly appreciated!! The hotel is Japanese tranditional style yet well maintained with good condition. You can...

We spent two nights at this lovely place and included the meals package - and so glad we did. If you are looking for an authentic Japanese onsen experience with beautifully delicious food look no further. The staff are so very helpful with answering all questions and offering suggestions. We will never forget our weekend here. Highly recommended!

What they lack in modern amenities they make up for in hospitality and kindness. This is a family owned and operated business and they do it well, especially given the age of this place. There's one elevator on a cliff that stops operating after 10:30. Keep that in mind.

We had a marvellous stay at Yokikan in Ito where is more than a cozy and warm place for us to relax. Their courtesy and eagerness to help (from the bottom staff to the top the host) makes us feel more enjoyable in this trip. The two different types of hot spring and the 'special'...

Our family had two rooms at the ryokan and it was the most delightful stay. The rooms were clean and quaint, futons comfortable, and the outdoor onsen was hot and had the most beautiful view. We dined at the ryokan for dinner and breakfast and the amazing food became one of the highlights of our whole trip. All staff were...
