This is the perfect location to walk to most, if not all, of the sights around town. We walked to the gardens, the castle, several old districts, and the fish market from here. The rooms are tight but clean, fun toilets with lots of buttons to play with. Best part was the buffet breakfast included in room rate which had...

The Toyoko Inn Kanazawa Kenrokuen Korinbo (東横INN金沢兼六園香林坊) is one of the nicest that I've stayed. I reserved a single and got a double bed with plenty of room on the floor to move around and put your suitcase (in some you have to slide a suitcase under the bed to have room to walk). There was even room for a...

Basically like a better version of Premier Inn - literally everything you could need, exceptionally clean, quick and helpful. Good sized rooms, warm and comfy, decent sized bathroom and facilities including PJs (love these, they are in a UV cupboard so you know they have been sanitised!) razors, brushes, toiletries, fridge etc. Lots of facilities downstairs in the lobby area...

The hotel is a bit crowded, especially during breakfast hours but in any case rooms are clean, well equipped and quite. Staff is friendly even if a better knowledge of English would make the difference. Free shuttle service from / to Kanazawa Station.

Clean but small room. Satisfactory breakfast. The hotel is mainly filled with businessmen. Functional and near the shopping streets in the city. It's no frills but with prices that reflect it. So if you just need somewhere to stay for the night, this will do the trick.

Large business / tourist hotel in the centre of Kanazawa. Good location for the loop bus or walking to the main attractions, 10-15 mins to the Castle of Kenrokuen and close to the main shops and market. Rooms are fairly small but comfortable, free breakfast is busy in the mornings.

I wad to this hotel for a week during a meeting in Kanazawa. They gave me a room in the 6th floor without a window. I asked to change it and they did. Pros. Very polite staff. Good location. Clean. Free Internet and breakfast. Cons. The rooms do not have a wardrobe and breakfast. Staff speaks little English. Breakfast is...

It may be a good short stay for a business traveler as it is in Kanazawa's prime business street where you can hardly miss. There are some department stores and decent restaurants/bars nearby. It is a famous chain budget inn where quality is consistent with what you would expect. However, for tourists who want to go sightseeing, I would not...

There are 2 Toyoko Inns in Kanazawa. I have been to both. This is the one near the city center (& NOT the one next to the main train station). You can take the buses from the main bus station right outside the train station, look for any bus that takes you to "Korinbo." You can ask local "Korinbo" &...

This hotel is quite big and location is the best you can have in Kanazawa. They offer free transfer to JR Station but check schedule services at reception. Staff was very polite at reception and room spotless. Light Breakfast was good but a bit too crowded of people. I would definitely stay again at this budget hotel. If you plan...
